Like an ostrich, sometimes I find it easier to just bury my head into virtual sand, rather than dwell on things that depress.
It has been a difficult time lately with a lot of medical visits and, so far, two surgeries (counting next week). I didn’t realize, or I hoped it would not come to pass, that a person can age so quickly. Now I understand why people end up owing their life savings to medical personnel and facilities. It just happened so fast, and seems to be multiplying in scope.
Not writing, not drawing. Just sitting around waiting for the next appointment and trying to ignore or avoid the pain. Not much to do except trust in God and go along for the ride.
