I am going to write a Christmas letter to include in Christmas cards this year. Just in case we send Christmas cards, which we usually do not. In any case, at least this weird (so far) year will be easier to remember if I write happenings down somewhere. And won’t everyone be surprised if I actually send out a Christmas letter? I know I will.
Why?
Because I think this year needs to be documented. We moved here last June, and this will be the first full year of our lives here. So much has happened.
Sort of.
Up until now, this year has been a little bit slow for me, since the discovery of a kidney stone on Jan 18th. So far, I have had two surgeries, and I have an appointment with a surgical office to see if they can figure out what else is wrong with me and/or if I need another surgery.
So, really, not much is going on, but I still think that the year should be documented. I mean, when was the last time I had two, or maybe three, surgeries in one year?
Never.
Hopefully, there will be more to add to the year’s history as we have some nice trips planned, not to mention the two trips already canceled because of my surgeries.
Anyway, I know nobody is reading this, but I will keep writing until there are three people reading — then I will decide what to do about it.
