All of a sudden, there are not enough days in the week. I am busy, busy, busy — with periods of uselessness/sleeping/doom-scrolling.
I’m taking three classes — not just free ones, but real ones that cost money.
The first is a self-study course in poetry that I may have mentioned before. I am taking too long to finish it because I excel at procrastination and laziness.
The second course is an art course, going back to the basics of just making marks on paper — lines, curves, circles — to coordinate my eye to hand coordination.
The third is a writing course on creating better characters who transform in some way in their lives, making them more interesting to read about.
That is not including the rest of life—cooking, Alzheimer respite meetings, washing dishes at the weekly community meal at church, writing, doodling, Zentangle, shoveling snow, using the snowblower, going to feed the seagulls, adding things to my Etsy Shop, and so on and so forth.
Oh, and writing in this blog. I am not quite up to a regular submission schedule yet, but while I am still breathing there is still hope.
I think…
Peace.
